What are CHAKRAS?

A QUICK INTRODUCTION TO ALL 7 CHAKRAS

The chakras are energy centers along the body and are distributed throughout the spine, from the coccyx to the crown.

Chakra means, in Sanskrit, circle.

- energy circles in different parts of the body.

It is a concept widely used in Eastern culture and disciplines such as yoga or meditation. The seven main chakras represent together the union between consciousness, mind, and body. In this way, our physical, emotional, and spiritual selves come together. Chakras absorb energies from outside and feed them to the human energy system. They receive, distribute and transform the life energy in and around us.

In Hinduism / Buddhism, one speaks of an “enlightened person” when all seven chakras are completely open and the life energy (Prana) flows without blockages and disturbances.

Chakras can be open or blocked:

Blocked chakras impede the flow of energy in the body, causing not only emotional and mental problems but also physical pain and illness. According to chakra teachings, certain emotions and experiences can trigger this blockage.

Open Chakras is the free flow of pranic energy throughout the body, said to lead to mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical health.

Energetic practices such as yoga, meditation, aromatherapy, healing stones, and nutrition help to activate the chakras and ensure the free flow of energy.
